Vee Family Pics.

November 14th we all got together for a family picture. It has been a little over 3 years and 3 additions to the family later. It was well needed.

By the time we were ready for our family pics the boys were out of control. This was the only one that was good enough. You couldn't see Ty and Luke's faces in all of the other ones.

Paradise in the US

November 2nd - 10th 2009

So my mom had asked me and Ape a while ago if we wanted to go to Hawaii, just the girls. At the time I was working and had no time to get anything done, so I said Not right now.

Well last month Mom said that Howie was going there for 3 weeks for work, and she invited Ape and Me to go again. Well this time April needed to take some time for her-self to get away from the Havoc that was about to come her way. DIVORCE.
We packed up everything and headed out on the evening of the 2nd of November. On the 3rd we landed in PARADISE!

I have a lot more pics that I will post later, but here are a few of the later portion of our trip.

All of us Flying to KAUA'I
The place where we stayed in Kaua'i was called The Outrigger.

This was the view from our little beach.
We did a bunch of fun things while in Kaua'i. We took a little drive and found this beautiful waterfall and when we were leaving we saw wild pigs crossing the road. That was kind of weird since in Kaua'i there are TONZ of wild roosters and chickens that just roam around.

I love this picture of a flower that my mom had found.

POI PU Beach

I was having fun, but I REALLY missed TY !!!

I took this picture for the boys. Way cool Turtle just chill'n on the beach.
I love the sunsets in the islands they are just gorgeous!!!
We went on a ZIP LINE tour that had 9 different zip lines and the longest one was over 1200 feet long. It was soo fun and Ty would've had a great time.
This used to be their longest one, but they built KING KONG last year and it makes the Big Kahuna look like a really small one.
Here is a little clip from riding the Big Kahuna. If you take that and times it by 2 that is how long KING KONG was, or at least seamed.

MOM Thank you and STEVE for the wonderful trip and the great bonding time. Ape and I will never forget this time that you gave to us.

I will post more later. I wish all a very Happy THANKSGIVING.

TRUNK-OR-TREAT

October 28th 2009

Today was our TRUNK-OR-TREAT for our ward. Usually my mom and my sister come with me, cuz Ty is usually at work, but this year everyone was busy doing something else. So I decided since I know I can't do it by my self I would invite Janell, Ty's mom. I am soo glad that I did because Jack was having a total meltdown and Luke wanted to play every game that they had. Last year I bought one bag of candy and it lasted the whole time, well this year I ran out about 2/3 of the way through. It is amaizing how fast a ward grows in one year, when the ward has young families. I was happy to see a few of our non-member friends there. All of the kids were sooo cute. We usually have a place where the kids can get their pics taken with some sort of background. With ours Janell took pictures and you can see in Jack's face how he goes from grumpy to happy in the matter of a couple minutes.

I finally started asking the boys where they hid their smiles, and jack purked right up. That is how my mom gets them to change their attitude and get them to smile for pics. It works wonders.

Date Night for Ty and Me

October 27th 2009
When we woke up we found out from Jack that there was snow outside, and he notified us that it was Christmas NOW! He was bugging us all day to go and play in the snow, but I really didn't want to deal with pulling out the clothes, putting them on the kids, and also taking the wet, cold clothes off 30 minutes later. So I told them that they could go and make a snow man at Grandma and Papa's house when they got home from work.
A couple of nights ago Ty and I had received a VERY generous gift from an anonymous person, and with it was a gift card for dinner at chillies. We decided that it was time to go out since Ty and I had that night off.
When we dropped them off the boys bolted out the back of the house to go and play in the snow. Well I guess that Lukie didn't like being cold so he stood at the window and just watched Jack play in the snow, and throwing snowballs at the window.

Nice throw Jack!!!

Here is the snowman that Jack made. I really love the grass hair, and the bucket hat.

Ty and I are soooo very blessed to have such wonderful friends that see when we are in need and help out when they can. With this WONDERFUL gift we were able to spend more than $5.00 each on the boys and for that we are thankful. They NOW will have a Christmas.
Whom ever is the wonderful person or family that has helped us is our ANGEL this year, and will be forever remembered in our hearts for their CHARITY.

Fire Awareness

October 14th 2009

Well this week Jack was learning about Fire safety, so we decided to have Ty take some of his stuff to class with Jack and talk to the Kiddo's about the equiptment and some of the things that they do. The kids really liked it and were excited to try on the hat, boots, and jacket.

It was fun to see their reactions when they tried some of the stuff on.
